Mandate of the Aeskulap Clinik

The Aeskulap Clinic is listed in the Schwyz Canton hospital register with a clearly defined performance mandate. The Clinic is therefore allowed to provide services to the account of compulsory health insurance. 

Hospital care requirements in the Cantons  

The Cantons are required by health care insurance law to plan for necessary  hospital care. The results are recorded in a hospital list. The hospitals listed therein, are entitled to charge the compulsory health care insurance for their services.

Mandate of the Aeskulap Clinic

"Specialised care in complementary medicine together with providing essential conventional medical services," and a planned 40 bed unit.

Tariff agreements with the Santésuisse Insurance Association

Since the beginning of 2009  tariff agreements exist between the Swiss Insurance companies (represented by the umbrella association Santésuisse), for basic in-patient services for patients living in, or outside Canton Schwyz.
