Holistic treatment, in-patient and out-patient

At the Aeskulap Clinic out-patient as well as in-patient holistic treatment is possible. As a rule, the conventional medicine part of our investigations and treatments are covered by health insurances. A detailed examination of your current health serves as a basis for each treatment of chronic diseases. 

Out-patient and In-patient  

If you have freedom of choice for a doctor in Switzerland you may contact the Aeskulap Clinic directly for your health problem. Should your treatment require admission to hospital we need confirmation of insurance coverage from your insurance company or a prepayment in advance. Before your insurance provides a confirmation of coverage for treatment at the Aeskulap Clinic, your doctor must have requested and had confirmed the so-called necessity for hospitalisation. For all further questions which concern our treatment the appointments’ department is at your service 

Which costs are covered? 

Although we are a privately funded institution the Aeskulap Clinic has for years been integrated into the Ministry of Health’s public network. This means, that for you, the conventional medicine investigations and treatments for an illness are essentially covered by your medical insurance. The complementary medicine products on the other hand, must be paid for by yourself or your supplementary insurance. 

The diagnosis comes before therapy 

Because our medical focus is especially on complex chronic ailments, there is an initial detailed and targeted examination carried out at the Aeskulap Clinic before any treatment is begun. The results of these studies provide a necessary basis for an individualised therapy plan. From the wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic methods that are available to us we choose those measures which best suit your health condition.
